Pavement strengthening on the JV-2305 Las Infantas–Ventosilla road

Summary

The procurement covers pavement strengthening and road improvements on the JV-2305 road from Las Infantas to Ventosilla in Jaén Province. Works along the full 3.44 km section include laying a double-layer surface dressing across the road, building concrete-lined traversable ditches in some sections, upgrading cross-drainage structures and the precast concrete box at chainage 0+770, replacing damaged vertical signs, renewing road markings and delineators, and improving existing public accesses. The works must be completed within four months. The estimated contract value is EUR 254,237.19 excluding VAT, and the maximum tender budget is EUR 307,627 including 21% VAT. The contract is not divided into lots. Evaluation awards up to 25 points for technical quality and 75 points for price; bidders must score at least 15 points on the qualitative criteria to proceed to the next assessment stage. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and roadworks experience, or hold the specified works-contractor classification, and provide for the required site foreman and project resources. At least 35% of workers assigned to the works must have permanent employment contracts during performance. The successful bidder must provide a 5% final performance guarantee and construction all-risks and liability insurance before work starts.
