Improvement and repair of rural roads for fire prevention

Summary

The contract covers the repair and improvement of three roads in and around Villagonzalo Pedernales to improve fire-service access to small wooded areas and other locations that may require intervention. The works concern the Las Adoberas road, the road running parallel to the railway, and the Fuente Murcia/Camino Viejo de Albillos road. The technical report specifies 3.50 m-wide road platforms, grading and levelling, as required 10 cm or 40 cm layers of recycled mixed material, a 10 cm layer of artificial aggregate, watering and compaction, and reshaping roadside ditches. The works are to be completed within 30 days. The estimated contract value is EUR 79,326.35 excluding VAT and EUR 95,984.88 including VAT. Tenders must be submitted electronically in Spanish within 20 calendar days from the day after publication of the contract notice, and no later than 14:00 on the final day. Price accounts for up to 80 points. An additional offer may include motor-grader work on neighbouring roads: 100 hours earns 20 points and 50 hours earns 10 points. Bidders must meet the economic and technical capacity requirements, and the successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the tender price excluding VAT. Variants are not permitted.
