Road surface rehabilitation on Corts Valencianes and Ausiàs March avenues and other roads in Xàtiva

Summary

The contract covers the rehabilitation and improvement of road surfaces in Xàtiva on Corts Valencianes and Ausiàs March avenues, as well as Circuito, Virrey and Reina streets, the Genovés road, and the Fillola, Pinyana, Branquizal, Anahuir, Carraixet and Vileu roads and tracks. The works include milling and repairing existing surfaces, laying new asphalt wearing courses, adjusting manhole covers to the new road level, improving drainage and gradients, reinstating road markings, managing waste and ensuring site safety. The contractor must complete the works within four months, follow the project specifications, and provide traffic management and temporary signs. The estimated contract value and budget excluding VAT are EUR 654,500. VAT at 21% is EUR 137,445, bringing the total to EUR 791,945. The contract is not divided into lots. Bids must be submitted electronically within 20 days starting the day after publication of the contract notice. Price is worth up to 35 points; an extended warranty earns 0.2 points per additional month, up to 5 points; and additional asphalt works linked to the contract are worth up to 60 points. The maximum value of the additional works offered is EUR 255,195.94 excluding VAT. Bidders must hold contractor classification Group G, Subgroup 4, Category 3, and must be registered or have submitted a registration application before the bid deadline. The successful bidder must provide a definitive guarantee of 5% of its final offer, maintain liability insurance of at least EUR 1,500,000 per claim (at least EUR 300,000 per injured person), and meet the safety, waste-management and employment-condition requirements.
