Improving KGM Musso Sport 4x4 Capability and Securing the Load Bed

Summary

The contract covers the supply and installation of 4x4 upgrade kits and secure roller shutters for the rear load beds of four KGM Musso Sport pick-ups used by the FGNE, including legalisation of the vehicle modifications. The upgrade kit includes underbody protection, a body lift, and reinforced shock absorbers and springs providing an additional ground clearance of 30–50 mm. Each load bed must receive a durable, lockable aluminium roller cover with seals and drainage. The work also includes wheel alignment, an engineering project, a conformity report, a workshop certificate, inspection of each vehicle and recording the modifications in its vehicle documents. The contractor must collect the vehicles from the FGNE unit, keep them in secure enclosed premises and return them after modification; transport costs are the contractor’s responsibility. Work must be completed within one month from the day after contract signature, and the final deadline for the entire contract is 30 November 2026. Offers are scored on price (70 points), reduced completion time (15 points) and an extended warranty (15 points). The minimum warranty is 3 years, with up to 2 additional years taken into account in scoring. The estimated contract value is EUR 17,000 excluding VAT, and the budget ceiling is EUR 20,570 including VAT.
