Cycle Lane and Civic Route Construction on Camí de Son Moro

Summary

The contract covers construction of a cycle lane and civic route on Camí de Son Moro in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, improving local coastal infrastructure, connecting it to the greenway between Manacor and Artà, and promoting walking and cycling. The works include, among other things, resurfacing, drainage, traffic management and signs, lighting, fencing, landscaping and reinstatement of affected utilities. The rural section is planned to have an 8-metre-wide asphalt carriageway, planted strips on both sides, a 1.80-metre footway and a 2.35-metre cycle and pedestrian path; the urban section has a variable width but retains a planted strip, cycle lane and footways. The planned speed limit is 30 km/h. The works must be completed within 12 months from signature of the setting-out record. The estimated contract value is EUR 2,625,357.16 excluding VAT, or EUR 3,176,682.16 including VAT. The contract is not divided into lots. Offers are assessed on price for up to 90 points and a formula-based criterion for up to 10 points; extending the works warranty by one year, to a total of two years, earns 10 points. Participation requires contractor classification G/4/5. No provisional guarantee is required; the successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the final offered price excluding VAT. Bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with the tender documents and by the stated deadline.
