Rental of a Pickup Truck with a Three-Way Tipper Body

Summary

Sercomosa is seeking a five-year operating lease of one new pickup truck with a three-way tipper body to renew the vehicle fleet used by its water services. The estimated mileage is 50,000 km over the full 60-month contract. The vehicle must seat at least three people, have a gross vehicle weight of 3,500 kg, a diesel engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning and a white body, and meet at least the Euro VI d emissions standard. It must have a tipper body suitable for carrying sand and gravel and a lockable tool cabinet; detailed dimensions and configuration are set out in the technical specification. The lease price must cover, among other things, maintenance and repairs, replacement tyres due to wear, insurance, 24-hour roadside assistance, user support and a replacement vehicle when maintenance lasts more than 48 hours. Vehicle inspections must be arranged within 30 km of Molina de Segura, and maintenance and repair workshops must be within 20 km of Sercomosa’s logistics centre. The vehicle must be delivered no later than 150 days after contract signature; the supplier must collect it at the end of the lease. The budget is EUR 75,000 excluding VAT and EUR 90,750 including VAT. Bids must be submitted electronically in Spanish, and price is the sole award criterion. Participation requires, among other things, professional liability insurance and experience with similar supplies during the preceding three years. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price excluding VAT.
