Renovation and refurbishment works at the El Verdoso bowling venue in Santander

Summary

The contract covers the comprehensive renovation and refurbishment of the El Verdoso municipal bowling venue in Santander, in accordance with the construction design. The works will renew the sports areas, stands, ancillary rooms, entrances and building systems, and improve safety, accessibility, lighting, waterproofing and evacuation conditions. The works must be completed within 8 months. The procurement is not divided into lots, and variants or alternative improvements are not permitted. The estimated contract price is €1,628,642.08 including VAT. Bidders must hold the required works classification and demonstrate financial and technical capacity. The project team must include a qualified works manager with at least five years’ experience on similar projects and a site foreman with at least five years’ construction experience. The bid must include a technical execution proposal, work programme, quality plan and the required declarations. Evaluation awards 55 points for price, 35 for the execution-method statement, 5 for the quality plan and 5 for the work programme; at least 22.5 points must be achieved under the qualitative criteria. An environmental management system approved by the contracting entity must be applied during performance. A final guarantee equal to 5% of the offered price excluding VAT is required.
