Road improvement works on the access route to Baltar via Cristo Rey and Cruz do Brasil

Summary

The contract covers improvements to the road leading south to Baltar through Cristo Rey and Cruz do Brasil, in the municipality of Ponte Caldelas. The works include milling and cleaning the existing surface, applying tack coat, laying asphalt concrete and installing road markings. On one section, resurfacing is to be carried out in halves to reverse the road’s crossfall. The works also include improving a short section of the road within the settlement. The estimated duration is four weeks. The estimated value is EUR 55,405.29 excluding VAT and EUR 67,040.40 including VAT. The contract is not divided into lots, and bids must be submitted electronically within 20 calendar days of publication of the contract notice. Price is the sole award criterion, worth up to 30 points; bids above the budget will be rejected. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and registration, commit to providing the required workforce, and comply with environmental, health and safety, wage and subcontracting requirements during the works. The works carry a minimum five-year guarantee period.
