Supply of three operating tables for the operating theatres at Son Llàtzer University Hospital

Summary

The tender covers the supply, installation and commissioning of three new operating tables for the operating theatres at Hospital Universitario Son Llàtzer. The budget is €165,000 excluding VAT, or €199,650 including 21% VAT. The tables must be delivered and operational no later than 30 calendar days after the contract is signed. Bidders must submit a detailed technical offer demonstrating compliance with all minimum requirements, descriptions of the acceptance-test procedures and a staff-training programme. The required tables are electrohydraulic and/or electromechanical models suitable for all types of surgery, with a mobile base and a universal, fully radiolucent tabletop divided into at least five sections. They must operate on battery and mains power, with approximately one week of battery autonomy. The padding must be at least 80 mm thick and the table must support a patient weight of at least 450 kg; specified movement ranges, accessory compatibility and particular accessories also apply. Additional technical features earn evaluation points. The supplier must deliver and install all equipment needed for proper operation, connect it to existing systems, conduct acceptance testing and train staff, and provide CE-marking documents, a declaration of conformity and the required manuals. The minimum all-risk warranty is two years, with fault resolution in fewer than two business days except in substantiated exceptional circumstances. Offers are evaluated on price (45 points), extended warranty (9), extended preventive and corrective maintenance (6), and the technical proposal (40). Bidders must demonstrate the specified financial and technical capacity and confirm that they are not prohibited from entering into public contracts. The selected bidder must provide, among other items, evidence of tax and social-security compliance and a definitive guarantee equal to 5% of the final offer price excluding VAT. The supplier must also collect packaging and sort and manage waste, and submit a waste-management report at the end of the contract.
