Bringing TVE Tenerife's fire protection installation into regulatory compliance

Summary

The tender covers the upgrade of the fire-suppression system at the TVE Tenerife centre to meet applicable requirements. The works will take place at Avenida de Buenos Aires 71, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and include, among other tasks, partial removal of existing equipment, extensions to fire detection and alarm systems, installation of 7 fire hose cabinets, an automatic fire pump set and 12 m³ of water storage, renewal of pipework and electrical connections, and adaptation of the fire-protection room. The bid must include a work method statement of up to four A4 pages, a work schedule, the price schedule and the technical evaluation annex. Price carries 50 points, automatic technical criteria 20 points, and the method statement and schedule 30 points. Requirements include relevant turnover, previous fire-protection work and installer authorisation for low-voltage and fire-protection installations.
