Supply of incontinence nappies for adults and children to the Palencia healthcare service

Summary

The procurement covers the supply of absorbent incontinence nappies for adults and children to the various services of the Palencia healthcare service for 24 months, starting on 15 December 2026 or, if later, on the date the contract is signed. It is divided into two lots: high-absorbency anatomical nappies for adults, and nappies for children and infants, including premature babies and several weight ranges. Estimated quantities are 140,000, 280,000 and 28,000 units for the adult lot, and six children’s products in quantities of 8,000, 36,000, 4,000, 3,000, 2,400 and 1,000 units. Actual orders will depend on the authority’s needs. The maximum budget is EUR 163,777.64 including VAT (EUR 148,266 excluding VAT); no extension is provided. Regular orders must be delivered within 15 calendar days, and urgent orders within 48 hours. Deliveries go to the general warehouse at Hospital Río Carrión in Palencia, with payment after each order is delivered and accepted. Packaging must be made from recycled material. Evaluation considers price, fastening performance, fit, absorbent-layer performance and finishing, as well as absorption capacity. Offers must not exceed the tender limits, and bidders must score at least 25 of 50 points in the qualitative, judgment-based criteria to continue.
