Refurbishment and expansion of the Preixana municipal swimming pools

Summary

The tender covers the comprehensive refurbishment and expansion of the municipal swimming pools in Preixana. The works include demolishing the existing service building and constructing a new building with a bar, changing rooms, an accessible changing room, a lifeguard room, a first-aid room and plant rooms; renovating the two pools and converting them to an overflow system; renewing water filtration, treatment and disinfection equipment, including salt-water disinfection; and upgrading the pool surrounds, outdoor surfaces, perimeter fence and external lighting. The procurement is a single, indivisible contract with no lots. The works must be completed within 10 months from the first working day after the setting-out inspection record is signed and, in any event, before the 2027 swimming season, no later than the second half of May. The maximum budget is EUR 349,615.10 excluding VAT, or EUR 423,034.27 including VAT. Bids are scored out of 100 points: price up to 10, construction improvements up to 60, and qualitative improvements up to 30. Tenderers must provide evidence of turnover and relevant works experience and meet the registration, insurance and other participation requirements in the tender documents.
