Retaining wall construction for the second section of the Aguiró access road

Summary

The tender covers construction of the retaining wall on the second section of the access road to Aguiró and road repairs. Heavy rainfall in late 2025 and early 2026 caused the ground to settle and the road surface to crack. Traffic to Aguiró has been closed because of the risk of a possible road collapse, making the repairs urgent. The estimated contract value is EUR 93,766.42 excluding VAT (EUR 113,457.37 including 21% VAT). The works are to be completed within 4 months; in the event of adverse weather, the contract may be extended by up to 8 months. Bids are assessed on a shorter completion period and the installation of additional steel railing outside the project scope: the completion period carries up to 20 points and the railing improvement up to 80 points. Price reductions are not scored. Bidders must meet the general conditions for contracting, submit their bids electronically and, if successful, provide a final guarantee of 5%.
