Comprehensive modernisation works for the Gimenells and Pla de la Font Irrigation Community

Summary

The tender covers construction works for the comprehensive modernisation of the Obra Tutelar Agrària Irrigation Community No. 91 in Gimenells and Pla de la Font. The aim is to reduce pumping energy costs through solar power, increase water storage and improve irrigation-network management and hydraulic infrastructure. The works include three solar power plants with a combined capacity of 628 kW, reservoir expansion and interconnection, a weather station, a SCADA control system, sensors and flow meters, replacement of six pumps, and construction or modification of pipelines, a pumping station building and control equipment. Bids are assessed on price (75 points) and technical criteria (25 points); a minimum technical score of 12.50 is required to proceed to the next stage. Bidders must hold the required contractor classification or demonstrate equivalent financial and technical capacity, and must be registered in RELIC or ROLECE. The contract also requires remote monitoring of the photovoltaic system during the additional two-year warranty period, making the total warranty period four years.
