Inspection and lubrication of exercise equipment at community centres and sports centres in Vitoria-Gasteiz
Summary
The tender covers the regular inspection and lubrication of 96 out-of-warranty exercise machines in the fitness rooms of 11 community centres and sports facilities in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The equipment comprises 43 upright exercise bikes, 12 recumbent exercise bikes, 8 rowing machines, 18 elliptical trainers and 15 treadmills. The service is required in 2027, with an option to extend the contract for one year, covering 2028. The contractor must make four maintenance visits per year, in January, April, July and October. The work includes functional checks of the equipment, including emergency stops, displays, speed and lifting systems; levelling adjustable feet; and checking rollers, lubrication, running decks and shock-absorbing components. The contractor must also lubricate treadmill decks and belts, measure motor power consumption after lubrication, grease treadmill lift motors and other necessary parts, clean drive belts, and clean and vacuum the areas around the motor and speed controller. Any machine found to present a risk must be reported to facility staff so it can be taken out of use until repaired. Replacement parts must be original parts from the equipment manufacturer; a quotation must be submitted for additional repairs before they are approved. The 2027 budget is EUR 5,777.18 excluding VAT and EUR 6,990.39 including VAT. Bids are evaluated on price, with up to 50 points available for the lowest price. The bid and responsible declaration must be submitted electronically in a single envelope, and the price must not exceed the stated budget. Bidders must meet the applicable registration requirement, but are exempt from proving economic, financial and technical capacity in this procedure.
