Group life and accident insurance for employees

Summary

The procurement is for group life and accident insurance for the employees of the municipal company Ensanche 21 Zabalgunea for three years, from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029. Cover must apply worldwide, 24 hours a day, and automatically include employees, including temporary staff and employees on temporary sick leave or other forms of suspended employment. The principal benefits are death from any cause (€50,000), accidental death (€100,000), death in a road-traffic accident (€150,000), total permanent disability from any cause (€50,000), absolute permanent disability (€50,000), and severe disability (€50,000). The additional benefit for total permanent disability resulting in departure from the company is €100,000; insured persons under 55 must prove that their departure from the company is final to qualify. Benefit amounts are not cumulative. The estimated contract value and maximum budget are €45,000. Premiums are paid annually and adjusted for actual staff changes. The price scores up to 80 points, a uniform and unchanged premium for the whole insured group scores 10 points, and additional covers score up to 10 points: adapting the home and vehicle, providing a wheelchair, and an additional €20,000 benefit if the insured person and their spouse die in the same accident and have children under 18 or dependent adult children. Bidders must be duly registered as insurers, demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity, and submit a premium tariff. Bids must be submitted electronically by 23:59 on 19 October 2026.
