Roundabout construction at the junction of Serrablo Street, Biescas Avenue and Azpe Square

Summary

The contract covers construction of a roundabout at the junction of Serrablo Street, Biescas Avenue and Azpe Square in Sabiñánigo. The aim is to improve traffic layout, mobility and user safety. The designed roundabout has an outer radius of 22 m, a single 6 m-wide circulating lane and a central island with a radius of 13.5 m. A 2.5 m-wide mountable inner strip around the island is intended to allow occasional passage by large heavy vehicles. The works also include, among other items, earthworks and demolition, drainage, public lighting, road surfacing, pavements, traffic signs and markings, landscaping, traffic management during construction, waste management and health and safety measures. The works must be completed within five months, with no extension option. The estimated contract value is EUR 332,285.92 excluding VAT; the maximum budget is EUR 402,065.96 including 21% VAT. Bids must be submitted electronically within 26 calendar days, starting the day after publication of the contract notice. The price is worth up to 70 points. Each additional year of warranty beyond the required one-year minimum earns 10 points, up to 30 points. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price excluding VAT.
