Podiatry services for SEPAD centres in Badajoz

Summary

The contract covers podiatry services at SEPAD-operated older people’s centres and residential care facilities in Badajoz for eligible centre members and residents; the service is not open to the general public. Treatments include nail cutting and filing, treatment of thickened skin and corns, dressings and wound care, protective pads, skin moisturising, and foot-care advice. Each appointment is individual and lasts at least 15 minutes. Visits are booked in advance and take place at times set by each centre; residents confined to bed must be treated in their rooms where necessary. The technical specifications divide the work into four lots, with an estimated total of 40,400 services per year: Lot 1 has 7,300, Lot 2 has 9,450, Lot 3 has 13,850 and Lot 4 has 9,800.
