Summary

The contract covers hygiene and analytical monitoring of water systems, Legionella prevention and control, fungal controls in changing rooms and sports facilities, and maintenance of related equipment across all campuses and other specified buildings of the University of Murcia. Work includes sampling and laboratory analysis of drinking, reclaimed and treated water and wastewater; inspection, cleaning and disinfection of water installations; preparation or updating of Legionella prevention and water safety plans; maintenance of automatic chlorine and pH measurement and dosing systems; and technical advice. The service also covers swimming-pool and irrigation-water controls, fungal testing, and the purchase and distribution of consumables. The initial contract term is 3 years, with the possibility of extensions for up to 2 additional years. The budget is €814,785.31 excluding VAT and €985,890.22 including 21% VAT; the estimated contract value is €1,493,773.05. The contract is not divided into lots. The bid must include a service-organisation plan and annual cost breakdown, with the net price and VAT stated separately. Evaluation awards up to 35 points for qualitative criteria and up to 65 points for automatic criteria; only bids scoring at least 45% of the qualitative points, or 15.75 out of 35, proceed to automatic scoring. Participation requires meeting financial and experience thresholds and providing the required accreditations, certificates, staff qualification evidence, proof of attendance at the explanatory meeting, and evidence of liability insurance of at least €600,000.
