Materials and equipment for cardiac electrophysiology procedures
Summary
The contract covers an integrated solution for cardiac electrophysiology procedures at Lozano Blesa University Hospital in Zaragoza: supply the disposable materials used in procedures and make the necessary navigation, diagnostic and ablation equipment available to the hospital. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029 and is divided into two lots; an offer must cover the entire lot selected, not individual items. Lot 1 includes supplies for atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, accessory pathway and complex ablation procedures. Lot 2 covers supplies for ventricular premature beats and tachycardias, focal atrial tachycardias, intranodal tachycardias and complex ventricular ablations. The hospital estimates annual procedure volumes of 25, 40, 15 and 5 respectively in Lot 1, and 135, 90, 25 and 5 in Lot 2. Quantities are estimates, and the hospital will order according to actual need; invoices will be issued monthly based on procedures performed. The supplier must transport, install and calibrate the equipment, train users, maintain the equipment and respond to breakdown notices within 48 hours. Offers will be assessed on product and equipment quality, price and technical-service response time. The lot budgets including VAT are EUR 835,260 and EUR 2,731,200; the estimated total contract value excluding VAT is EUR 2,947,487.60. The revised opening time for the financial offers is 30 October 2026 at 09:30. Participation requires evidence of the specified turnover and comparable supply experience, along with the required technical documentation and samples. Bidders must also meet at least one special requirement: more than 2% of their workforce consists of employees with disabilities, or they have measures to promote product recycling and reusable packaging.
