Competition for Architectural Preliminary Designs for the Palma Botanical Garden

Summary

This is an open, anonymous, single-stage competition for architectural preliminary designs for the Palma Botanical Garden, assessed by a jury. The selected proposal must provide the best architectural quality and technical, functional, cultural and environmental solution, together with technical, economic and construction feasibility. The prize fund is EUR 55,000 exempt from VAT: a first prize of EUR 25,000 and two finalist prizes of EUR 15,000 each. The submission deadline is 16 November 2026 at 14:00. The winner may later be awarded, through a negotiated procedure, a services contract covering design, necessary studies, construction management, and health and safety coordination, subject to funding and the contracting authority’s decision.
