Technical assistance for sustainability and the energy transition

Summary

The Girona Provincial Council is establishing a four-year dynamic purchasing system for technical assistance services for itself, its dependent entities and participating local authorities. The services are divided into six categories: support for local energy communities, photovoltaic installation projects, building energy efficiency and renovation, replacement of fossil-fuel heating systems, public lighting, and municipal waste management. The heating-system category covers aerothermal and geothermal heat pumps, heating and cooling networks using renewable energy or residual heat, and biomass boilers; the system guarantees neither a specific number of contracts nor a volume of services.
