Construction of a new track and electrification at Bezana station

Summary

ADIF is procuring construction of a new track and electrification works at Bezana railway station in Santa Cruz de Bezana, Cantabria, on line 770 between Santander and Oviedo. The works include extending track 3 and connecting it to track 1, replacing wooden sleepers, laying ballast and rails, welding, installing a new railway switch, and replacing overhead-line supports and adjusting the catenary. The works are to last 11 months; the maximum contract budget is EUR 2,427,919.42 excluding VAT.
