Category 4: Project design and construction supervision services

Summary

The tender establishes a dynamic purchasing system for the Island Council of Tenerife and associated public-sector bodies to procure technical project drafting, related design services, and construction management and supervision. This notice concerns Category 4, for which the estimated value of an individual contract is €180,001–€240,000. Firms first apply to join the system; when a specific service is needed, admitted firms in the relevant category are invited to submit separate bids. Membership does not guarantee an award or a minimum number of orders. To participate, a bidder must demonstrate annual turnover of at least €120,000 in its best year of the last three years and a cumulative value of at least €115,500 for similar services in the year of greatest activity during the previous five years. Each specific-contract invitation will set the required specialists, qualifications and experience; the general profile list gives an experience range of 3–10 years. Applications and bids must be submitted electronically. Technical specifications and award criteria for each service will be set out in its invitation. The Category 4 contractor must hold professional liability insurance of €300,000; a specific contract may require a performance guarantee of 5% of the contract price excluding IGIC.
