Supply of personal protective equipment for healthcare staff
Summary
This tender establishes a dynamic purchasing system for buying healthcare personal protective equipment for the Canary Islands Health Service. The six categories cover gloves; masks; gowns, coveralls and suits; swabs; hydroalcoholic disinfectants; and other health-safety products such as protective eyewear, face shields, shoe covers and caps. The quantities, technical specifications, delivery locations, deadlines and budgets for individual purchases will be set in later category-specific competitions. The system runs initially for two years and may be extended by up to three years; businesses may apply to join at any time while it remains in force. The maximum estimated total value is EUR 42,478,521.23 excluding the Canary Islands indirect general tax. To participate, a bidder must demonstrate the turnover and relevant supply experience required for each category and submit the required corporate, tax and social-security documents. For each specific competition, bidders must provide technical product descriptions and a price offer for compliant goods. Evaluation may take account of price, environmentally friendly packaging and products, longer shelf life and functional suitability.
