Tender detail

Supply of foodstuffs to centres of the Canary Islands Health Service

Summary

The tender establishes a dynamic purchasing system for supplying food to centres of the Canary Islands Health Service. Its nine categories cover meat and other animal products, fish, eggs, fruit and vegetables, oils and fats, dairy products, milling and starch products, other food products, and beverages. Suppliers may apply for one or more categories and may join throughout the system’s term; suppliers admitted to a category will be invited separately to submit bids for specific purchases in that category. The system runs for 12 months and may be extended by a further four years, up to five years in total. Its estimated overall value, including a possible 20% modification, is €65,351,460.06 excluding the Canary Islands indirect tax. Each order will be defined in a specific competition; unless that competition sets different terms, ordinary deliveries are due within 15 calendar days and urgent deliveries within 5 days. Price scores 70 points, environmentally friendly packaging 15, and organic products 15. Applicants must demonstrate legal and financial capacity and experience with comparable supplies. The exact products, quantities and technical specifications will be set out in the documents for each specific purchase.
