Initial laboratory fit-out for the new CARDDIAB research building

Summary

The contract covers the supply of equipment for the initial fit-out of the laboratories in the University Hospital of Düsseldorf’s new CARDDIAB research building, divided into four lots: analytical and laboratory equipment (including a UV-Vis spectrophotometer, fluorescence imaging system, two gas chromatograph–mass spectrometers, two blood-cell analysers, blotting and electrophoresis equipment, and a PCR system); eight instruments for measuring cellular respiration and mitochondrial activity; one flow cytometer; and one cell-metabolism analyser. The supplier must provide complete, ready-to-use systems with the necessary accessories, software and connections, install and commission the equipment, and train users. The work also includes preparing installation and workshop plans and technical documentation. The equipment and laboratory installation must be suitable for an S2 safety-level laboratory; the implementation schedule and other technical conditions are set out in the tender documents. Bids may be submitted for individual lots, but the maximum number of lots allowed must be checked in the contract notice. Alternative bids are not permitted, and price is the sole award criterion. The offer must be submitted in German electronically through the procurement platform by 2 November 2026 at 11:00, using the required forms and meeting the signature or seal requirements. The bidder must provide suitability and sanctions declarations and complete the required product and technical information in the offer.
