Cable route construction for the Regensburg Ost electronic interlocking – line 5500, km 130.883–137.660

Summary

At Regensburg Ost station, the works will construct an electronic interlocking system to replace five existing mechanical interlocking systems. The scope includes approximately 2.3 km of cable routing system size I, 4.4 km of size II, 1 km of size III and 2 km of size IV, together with cable crossings and chambers of various sizes; crossing pipes will be 5–50 metres long. The project also covers signalling and overhead-line equipment on several track sections and modifications to telecommunications and 50 Hz installations.
