Rolling grille, metal doors and other metalwork for the child and adolescent psychiatry facility
Summary
The tender covers metalworking and metal construction for the extension and partial refurbishment of the University Hospital of Tübingen’s child and adolescent psychiatry facility. The contractor must supply and install an aluminium rolling grille and traffic signal for the underground garage, vehicle-impact protection, internal and external steel doors, and an escape-route louvred door, together with door automation, hardware and access-control preparation. Other work includes an escape balcony and metal structures, stairs, handrails and guardrails, a light-well grating, and an aluminium weather louvre. The work also includes workshop and installation drawings, structural calculations, required documentation, and commissioning and testing of systems. Work takes place beside an operating hospital; deliveries must be coordinated and noisy work planned in advance. The bid must include a suitability declaration or European Single Procurement Document and the required price and wage declarations. Relevant comparable experience must fall within the last five calendar years; shortlisted bidders must provide three references. The required price breakdown must be submitted, and price is the sole award criterion. The bid must be submitted electronically in German by 2 November 2026 at 13:00. Work is expected to start on the contracting authority’s instruction, provisionally on 29 January 2027, and must be completed within 100 working days. Where applicable, employees must receive at least EUR 12.82 gross per hour or any more favourable applicable tariff or statutory rate.
