.loyal Magazine Mailing and Distribution – Lot 3

Summary

The tender concerns Lot 3, the mailing and distribution service for the magazine “.loyal”. The contractor must collect, transport and deliver the completed magazine in Germany and abroad, including parcels and multi-copy shipments, digital address maintenance, returns handling and shipment tracking. In Germany, delivery must take place within no more than two working days after handover, with a 99.9% delivery rate across the nationwide network at no additional charge. The estimated monthly volume is 110,000 magazine shipments, 4,600 parcels, 125 multi-copy magazine shipments, 525 international shipments and 5,350 Bundeswehr shipments to a single recipient address. The quantities are not guaranteed; payment is based on the shipments actually performed. The magazine is published 11 times per year. The planned contract term is three years, with a unilateral one-year extension option for the contracting authority. The tenderer must demonstrate turnover from comparable postal services in each of the last three completed financial or calendar years, provide at least two comparable postal-service references performed after 1 January 2023 for at least two years, and may provide up to five references. The tenderer must also submit a commercial register extract no more than six months old, proof of membership in the relevant employers’ liability insurance association, and a commitment to take out professional liability insurance within two weeks after signing the contract. The tender must include all required forms, complete tender documentation and an operating concept of no more than 10 pages addressing preparation of the different shipment types, timely delivery, scheduling, interface management, project coordination, delivery to security-controlled locations and returned shipments. The offer must be submitted electronically in German by 8 October 2026 at 12:00. Alternative offers are not permitted, and the offer must remain binding until 10 December 2026.
