Flexible automation system for handling and palletizing machining tools and tool holders

Summary

Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal is procuring a machine-independent automated handling and palletizing system for machining tools and tool holders, including delivery, installation, commissioning and on-site training. The system is to serve automated loading and unloading of measuring machines and CNC machining centres, handling loose and pre-assembled shank tools, tool holders and clamping or adapter inserts. It includes an industrial robot, pallet systems for both tool types, a machine interface, control equipment and a safety enclosure; the specified pallet capacity is approximately 12 loose tools and 12 assembled tools.
