Replacement of the BW50 bridge – main works

Summary

Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is procuring the demolition and replacement of bridge BW50, which carries the A3 over the A93 at Regensburg, together with associated road and drainage works. The bridge comprises four structures, with an average total length of 83.7 m and a bridge area of 5,042 m². The works also include reinstating sections of the A3 and A93, parallel carriageways and ramps; the long-term traffic management and construction of the noise barrier are procured separately.
