Demolition and hazardous-substance remediation works

Summary

The City of Melle is procuring hazardous-material remediation, demolition and related disposal works for the existing Gesmold Primary School at Papenbrede 2 in Melle-Gesmold. The work covers the main building, extension and annex, with a total area of approximately 2,265 m² and volume of approximately 6,435 m³, as well as specified outdoor areas. It includes selective removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials, old mineral wool, PAK- and HBCD-containing materials and heavy-metal-contaminated finishes, followed by building and foundation demolition, removal of a gas heating system and an underground oil tank, and clearance of designated site areas.
