Water utility materials supply

Summary

The tender covers the supply of materials for the annual needs of the Verbandsgemeindewerke Altenkirchen-Flammersfeld water utility, for maintenance, repair and expansion work on its water network. The supplies include pressure pipes, pipe fittings, shut-off valves, hydrants, seals and water meter chambers. The utility’s own staff will use the materials to maintain a network of approximately 380 km and 15,500 service connections. The contract will run for 12 months and may be extended unilaterally by the contracting authority three times for further 12-month periods; notice of an extension must be given by 31 October of the preceding year. The maximum call-off volume is EUR 300,000 excluding VAT for each 12-month period.
