Environmental planning services for preliminary planning of the A59 in Sankt Augustin

Summary

The procurement concerns environmental planning services for the preliminary planning of the A59 in the Sankt Augustin area, on the section from Sankt Augustin-West to the Liburer Heide service area. The work includes, among other things, a faunistic planning-area analysis and scoping submission, spatial resistance analysis, biotope mapping and faunal surveys, as well as assessment of environmental effects and route alternatives. The analysis and project results must be documented and delivered digitally; field records and evidence of surveys must also be handed over digitally. Work must begin no later than 10 working days after contract award. The deadline for the faunistic planning-area analysis and scoping submission is 30 June 2027; the deadline for the spatial resistance analysis, biotope mapping and faunal surveys is 31 December 2028. The effects forecast and comparison of alternatives are due no later than four months after the technical alternatives are handed over, expected in the third quarter of 2029. The contract is not divided into lots. Price is the sole award criterion, weighted at 100%. The offer must be submitted electronically in German by 10:00 on 29 October 2026, using the required forms and including the offer file in DA 84 GAEB 90 format. The bidder must have the required professional liability insurance and a team whose education, professional experience and relevant previous road environmental-planning projects meet the stated requirements, including a BIM coordinator and a project manager.
