Optical components for an IFU

Summary

The Max Planck Institute of Extraterrestrial Physics is procuring the manufacture and delivery of four optical components for the MICADO integral field unit: a fold mirror, a slicer mirror array, a pupil mirror array and a slit mirror array. The components will split and redirect light into a single output slit for the MICADO spectrometer, for operation in a vacuum at 80 K over a wavelength range of 1.1–2.5 µm.
