Standardised comparison of research organisations with international peers using key indicators

Summary

The contract covers a study supplementing the 2027 Pact for Research and Innovation (PFI) monitoring. It will collect, explain and interpret selected indicators for the German Research Foundation, the Max Planck Society, the Fraunhofer Society, the Leibniz Association and the Helmholtz Association, comparing each with selected international peers that have similar missions but operate under different conditions. The study will build on the 2023 pilot study to support comparability.
