Renovation of the Oberthal Güdesweiler wastewater treatment plant and renewal of the Güdesweiler rainwater treatment system (104)

Summary

The tender concerns the renovation of the Oberthal Güdesweiler wastewater treatment plant and the renewal of the Güdesweiler rainwater treatment system. The contract includes the demolition of the existing pond clarifier and the construction of a technical wastewater treatment plant based on Biocos process; the project includes components such as fine screening, circular sand filtration, activated sludge tanks, phosphorus precipitation and sludge storage. In addition, the rainwater treatment system will be upgraded with a separation structure, rain overflow basins, inflow pumping station, retention filter and outlet throttling. A new functional building of about 190 m² will be constructed (workspaces and storage, measurement room, toilet, NSHV/operating monitoring room and space for equipment). The project covers all construction, mechanical and electrical/ MSR works and building services; demolition, earthworks, asphalt and concrete works and related tasks are included.
