Cable supply for various construction projects

Summary

Duisburger Verkehrsgesellschaft AG and the City of Duisburg are procuring cables for three light-rail infrastructure projects: renewal of the rectifier substations at Duisburg Central Station and Grunewald, and works at the Grunewald depot stop. The three project sections cover approximately 800 m of 500 mm² feeder/return cable; 6,750 m of medium-voltage, feeder/return and power cables, plus 3,200 m of control and signalling cable; and 3,050 m of feeder/return, power, control and signalling cables. The cable drums are to be made available on call-off between 2027 and 2029, with weather-protected storage and separate accounting for each project.
