Delivery, installation and commissioning of the screw press at Staßfurt wastewater treatment plant

Summary

The contract covers the delivery, installation and commissioning of a screw press sludge dewatering system for the Staßfurt wastewater treatment plant, including peripheral equipment (polymer station, feed pump, polymer pump, conveying/distribution technology), control cabinet and panel, measurement and control technology, and weatherproof containers. The system must integrate with the existing process control system Flowchief and be controllable via a local control panel and the process control system. The scope includes space and utilities provision by the client, and the supply of a mobile sludge dewatering unit during the modification works. The target is energy-efficient sludge dewatering with a throughput range of 4–12 m3/h and a dryness content around 22% TR. Commissioning, testing and training are required, with adherence to project timelines and procurement documentation requirements.
