Summary
The tender concerns the four-year rental of a semi-stationary speed enforcement trailer for the City of Würzburg, with the option to extend the contract twice by one year, for a maximum additional period of two years. The estimated value is EUR 637,400.97 excluding VAT, and the planned rental period is from 1 February 2027 to 31 January 2031. The supplier must provide a complete digital, non-invasive LiDAR speed measurement system with two measuring units, two flash units, trailer equipment, maintenance, repairs, spare-parts supply, calibration arrangements, secure data transmission, software and user training. The system must monitor traffic in both directions and across several lanes, cover at least 10–250 km/h, operate from –20 to +60 °C, and retain the required approval from the German national metrology authority throughout the rental period. A replacement unit must be supplied within 48 hours in the specified cases, where available. At least seven City of Würzburg employees must be trained before commissioning. The bid deadline is 24 September 2026 at 10:00. Submission is electronic and must be in German. Variants are not permitted and price is the only award criterion.
