Hazardous waste collection and disposal in Aurich district

Summary

The tender concerns the organization of hazardous waste collection and disposal services in the Aurich district starting in 2027. The contractor will manage: mobile collection of household hazardous waste from the mainland and the Juist and Baltrum islands; semi-mobile collection at transfer yards Großefehn, Hage, Georgsheil and Norderney; proper transport and disposal at selected facilities; collection of small quantities from other sources; and provision of a hazardous goods officer. The contract duration is two years with an optional one-year extension. The estimated annual volume is about 233 tons. The price structure comprises three components: mobile/semimobile collection, hazardous goods officer, and disposal; CO2 costs are charged separately. The procurement follows GWB and VgV in a open procedure, with price as the award criterion.
