Occupational health physician services for Coesfeld District Administration

Summary

Coesfeld District Administration is procuring occupational health physician services for 1,174 employees, starting on 1 January 2027. The service covers statutory occupational health support and employee health surveillance, including mandatory, offered and employee-requested examinations; occupational health examinations where needed; vaccinations; workplace inspections; examinations of pregnant employees; and attendance at four occupational health and safety committee meetings each year. The workforce includes office staff as well as employees in areas such as emergency dispatch, road maintenance, healthcare, veterinary services, slaughterhouse work and field duties. The estimated annual service volume is 408 hours: 201 hours of basic support and 207 hours of company-specific support. Approximately two thirds of the hours are intended to be delivered on site. The contractor must offer at least 16 on-site hours per month on at least two days and remain available during the specified weekday hours, responding to enquiries within 1–2 working days. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028, with two optional extensions of 12 months each. The offer must state hourly rates for both service types; payment is based on work actually performed. Travel costs are reimbursed at EUR 0.80 per distance kilometre from the main office in Coesfeld, while customary laboratory and vaccine costs are invoiced separately. The offer must name the lead occupational physician, a deputy and all other personnel involved in contract delivery, and include evidence of their qualifications. At least two references from the last three years are required, including one from municipal administration and one covering at least 200 service hours per year, together with evidence of the required professional indemnity insurance.
