Purchase of emission reduction credits under Article 6(4) of the Paris Agreement (compensation for 2025)
Summary
The German Environment Agency (UBA) intends to purchase up to 1,101,743 emission reduction credits to compensate for emissions from federal government and administration travel and events, as well as climate-neutrality measures for several federal institutions. The credits must support climate protection projects compatible with the rules of Article 6(4) of the Paris Agreement.
