Upgrading and expanding the measurement, control and regulation systems at the Green IT Cube

Summary

GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research is procuring the modernization and expansion of the measurement, control and building automation systems at the Green IT Cube data centre in Darmstadt. The work includes replacing existing automation stations with an S7-1500-based or technically equivalent platform, installing an expandable master control station for cooling circuits KP06 and KP07, migrating existing functions, and integrating the systems with Desigo CC and the WE06 installation. The scope also covers planning, control cabinet modifications, equipment supply and installation, programming, testing, commissioning, operator training, licences and technical documentation; completion is scheduled by 31 March 2027.
