Initial afforestation of four sites in Essen

Summary

Essen is procuring the initial afforestation of four municipal sites covering approximately 5.8 hectares in total: Am Ruhmbach (2.65 ha), Kaldenhoverbaum (2.53 ha), Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße (0.25 ha) and Weubelshof (0.37 ha). The work includes preparing the sites, supplying and planting certified forest stock of suitable local provenance, installing wildlife fencing where specified, and carrying out one year of establishment maintenance followed by two years of development maintenance. At Weubelshof, additional tasks include clearing vegetation and waste and preparing site access. The full scope for all four sites must be offered as one contract; there are no lots.
