Regional mail service (Osnabrück area)

Summary

The tender concerns regional postal services for AOK Niedersachsen in the Osnabrück area. The contractor must collect mail on working days from five locations in Nordhorn, Meppen, Lingen, Vechta and Osnabrück, and arrange sorting, franking, transport, delivery and returns. The service covers domestic and international letters, registered mail, formal service-of-process items and, where required, parcels weighing up to 20 kg. The average volume is approximately 5,284 letters per month; these quantities are not binding. The target is to deliver 99% of items no later than the fourth working day after collection. The bidder must meet the mandatory operational requirements, be legally authorised to provide postal services, and ensure suitable staffing, data protection and postal confidentiality. Prices will be compared inclusive of VAT, and quality will also be assessed separately.
