Collection and recovery of treated waste wood

Summary

The tender covers the collection, transport and recovery of treated waste wood in categories AI–AIII, collected separately with bulky waste in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district. The contractor must collect the wood at the transfer station in Freiburg, arrange the necessary transport and handling logistics, and send it for material recovery at a legally authorised facility. The contractor is also responsible for properly handling any contaminants and sorting residues and for documenting the quantities and onward treatment. The initial contract period runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028. The estimated quantity is 6,000 tonnes over 24 months, with a planning range of 5,000–7,000 tonnes. Bids must state the handling and logistics price separately from the recovery price or proceeds. The recovery price is adjusted quarterly in line with a market index. Price is the sole award criterion, weighted at 100%. Bids must be submitted electronically in German. Variant bids are not allowed, but one bidder may submit multiple bids. Requirements include the necessary waste management permits and certificates, an appropriate waste-management-company certificate for the operating site or an equivalent certificate, and vehicles fitted with particulate filters that meet at least the EURO VIc emissions standard.
