Green Space and Outdoor Area Maintenance at Frankfurt Police Properties (2 Lots)

Summary

The procurement covers maintenance of green spaces and outdoor areas at Frankfurt police properties in two lots. Lot 1 concerns the Frankfurt Police Headquarters; Lot 2 covers several police stations and other police facilities. The green-space areas are approximately 12,004.94 m² and 6,438.84 m² respectively, while the outdoor areas cover 21,898.06 m² and 11,031.59 m². The work includes sweeping and removing leaves from paved areas, weed control, lawn mowing, care of planting beds and hedges, and removal of leaves, litter and cuttings. At some sites, drains, gullies, light wells and a roof must also be cleaned. Chemical weed control is prohibited in the dog-unit enclosures. Most tasks are seasonal and repeated several times a year; maintenance must comply with DIN 18919, and the contracting authority must be notified at least four days before each visit. The initial contract term is three years, with four possible one-year extensions, for a maximum term of seven years. Prices must be provided for the relevant lot; alternative tenders are not permitted, and price is the sole award criterion. The bidder must provide at least one employee with completed vocational training as a landscape gardener or equivalent horticultural training. The offer must include the required completed tender documents, maintenance references, confirmation of liability insurance, and declarations concerning taxes and social-security contributions, pay obligations, minimum-wage rules and sanctions restrictions.
