FTIR Analysis System

Summary

The tender covers the purchase of one complete, operational FTIR analysis system for the Institute of Internal Combustion Engines and Fuel Cells at Technische Universität Braunschweig. The system must be suitable for analysing hot, humid and condensation-prone exhaust gases, as well as acidic and corrosive measurement gases. Requirements include online gas analysis, a measurement rate of at least 5 Hz, a gas cell of no more than 70 ml, resolution of 0.5 cm⁻¹, pressure and temperature control, and a liquid-nitrogen-cooled analyser with automatic refilling for measurement campaigns lasting at least 72 hours. The system must include a paramagnetic oxygen sensor with a range of 0–25 vol.% or 0–250,000 ppm and be prepared for later installation of an FID. The supplier must deliver, install and commission the equipment and provide at least one day of on-site training for five people. The bid must include product descriptions or data sheets demonstrating compliance. Evaluation weights are 40% for price and 60% for technical value; compliant alternative bids are also permitted.
